2) Island Caretaker

A man  from Petersfield named Ben Southall who is 34 years, He is from East Hampshire district of Hampshire, England. He has been chosen among 35,000 applicants all over the world for the job of swimming, exploring and relaxing on Hamilton Island in the Great Barrier Reef and promoting area by blogging online. Ben had to go through a four-day interview process. He was selected for the $111,000 gig - a six-month contract to serve as caretaker of a tropical Australian island.

Interview process required applicants to snorkel through crystalline waters, gorge themselves at a beachside barbecue and relax at a spa. Ben also had to demonstrate his blogging abilities, take swimming tests and sit through in-person interviews.He finally got a six-month contract to work as a caretaker of a tropical Australian island.

3) Wine Tester and Blogger

Hardy Wallace of Atlanta has got a very interesting job which brings him $10,000 a month. This job requires him to test wine, capture and share the experience for his network of Twitter followers.

4) Resort Waterslide Tester

Tommy Lynch has travelled over 27,000 miles this year for his job, testing holiday resort waterslides. Mr Lynch, 29, works for holiday giant First Choice, checking the height, speed, water quantity and landing of the flumes, as well as all safety aspects. In 2008 Mr Lynch tested waterslides at holiday villages in Lanzarote, Majorca, Egypt, Turkey, Costa Del Sol, Cyprus, Algarve, Dominican Republic and Mexico. This year he will quality control First Choice's new splash resorts in Greece, Turkey, Florida, Jamaica and Ibiza.

Durex, a trademarked name for a range of condoms, has hired about 200 Australians who are over the age of 18 to work as condom testers.
